SOSU bridging course – an important step on the path to the SOSU education.

We have just completed an intense and inspiring SOSU bridging course in Herning – a course that started in January and now culminates with the majority of students being accepted into Well on the Way to SOSU. 👏👏

The completion was celebrated with a diploma ceremony, attended by recruitment consultants Lisbeth Kirkeby from Ikast-Brande Municipality and Lisbeth Munk from Herning Municipality, along with our Head of Education, Admir Muratovic.

Lisbeth Kirkeby shared her thoughts on the course: “It gives the students greater opportunities and better conditions for succeeding in their SOSU education, and both language skills and cultural understanding see a significant improvement.”

Lisbeth Munk added: “The professional language used throughout the bridging course allows the students to apply and unfold their competencies. Already during the course, they begin to combine theory and practice.”

One particularly inspiring story from the group is that of Ionela Marinescu from Romania. She came to Denmark in 2022, passed her Danish language exam in December 2024, and has now been accepted into Well on the Way to SOSU. Ionela says: “I’ve become much better at speaking Danish, and I’m no longer afraid of it. It’s important to learn how to talk to elderly people. Watching videos and having conversations helped a lot. It’s been fun being part of the group, and you can feel that the teachers have worked closely together and are passionate about the project.”
