Fruitful cooperation in Ikast-Brande’s network “Danish in the workplace”

At Sprogcenter Midt Herning, we are proud to be part of Ikast-Brande Municipality’s network “Danish in the workplace”.

The network regularly meets local companies such as Danpo A/S, JW Industri, DOT A/S and STEA A/S, as well as 3F – Trade Union Confederation, the Herning & Ikast-Brande Business Council and others. and share their experiences with recruiting and retaining foreign workers. Here we are involved and can contribute with help to – together with the companies – find solutions for language upskilling.

And it’s an exciting forum to be a part of. The common starting point is the desire to succeed with its foreign employees and workforce, as well as an understanding that one must think broadly and all-round when this has to happen. This applies both in relation to experienced linguistic or cultural barriers, conditions at the workplace, colleagues’ understanding as well as formal and legal prerequisites.
