Active participation in association life is a great way to integrate into Danish society. Therefore, we have entered into a collaboration with the Danish Refugee Council’s Leisure Effort, where we help the students get their children started with leisure activities. You can get help to find an activity, contact the association, get started and, not least, apply for support to pay the membership fee.
All our students can get help, and in Herning it is possible to get personal help from Jeppe or some of the volunteer ambassadors that we are training. The ambassadors are students who help other students.
There is still a need for volunteer ambassadors, so if you would like to become a volunteer yourself, you can get started after a short course to help families get started with association life.
