My Language School

It is fun to learn a new language, but it is also hard work.

At our language school you will experience a great place to learn and a great place to be.

Danish and job

We teach you the Danish that you need in your everyday life and in the labor market. You actually learn about the labor market while learning Danish. We teach these four topics:

You get a plan

When you have been interviewed by our counsellor you will be assigned to a class which corresponds to your level.

You receive a plan for the teaching including goals and content. You will be informed when you can expect to take tests, and when we expect you will be ready to sit for the final exam in Danish.

Goals, evaluation and feedback

Every module has 3-5 topics. After each topic the teacher will evaluate your learning and you receive individual feedback.

Your teacher will regularly tell you, what you need to learn, how much you already know, and what you need to work on.

Digital platforms

In teaching, we use digital platforms to support you to learn as effectively as possible. We use smartphone, smartboard, iPad and computer. And you get access to the latest interactive online software that can help you learn Danish.

With our Sprogcenter Midt app you can access your schedule, your homework, your tasks, your attendance and your voucher. You download the app via your smartphone or tablet.

The Best Ways to Learn Danish

Use your learning goals actively

You can do a lot yourself to learn more effectively.

Learning is a keyword at our language school. Together with you, we continuously assess what you need to learn, how far you are, and how to proceed. It is important for your learning that you understand your goals and focus on them.

Use the study center wisely

Part of our teaching takes place in a study center. Here you will find teachers who can help you, but you must be active and constantly evaluate what you need to train. In the study center you can work alone or with others.

Attend all your lessons

Attendance for both teaching and study centers is compulsory. If you are absent, we are required to record it and send the information to the municipal authority who pays for your education.

Remember your homework

We expect you to do homework and work with your Danish learning also outside the school.

In the school you learn and outside school you practice.

If you are absent from class, you should check the app for information about homework or you should contact a classmate so that you do not get behind.
