Danish Summer Language Course – few seats left

Last chance for signing up for an online course of Danish language and culture

Although Covid-19 has limited your travel abilities, you still have the opportunity to improve your Danish skills and get first-hand experience about Danish culture and society. 

With our intensive online course, you can improve your Danish skills through online dialogues, writing and listening exercises, speaking exercises and much more. Also get a knowledge of the Danes, their everyday life, and the society.  

Danish classes will bring your attention to specific language structures, vocabulary and communication skills in both spoken and written Danish, organized around three themes relevant for Danish culture and society.

  • Living and working in Denmark  
  • Danish values and democracy 

Our digital platform

Our digital summer language course takes place at oudigital platformGoogle Classroom.

Here you can:  

  • Participate in digital classes with exercises, assignments and tasks.  
  • Communicate with your teacher about your lesson plan and get individual feedback  
  • View video instructions where your teacher presents your assignments and learning objectives  
  • Talk to your teacher face-to-face through Google Meet, where you can also meet other students
  • Access video material as well as texts relevant for Danish culture and society  


The Summer Language Course is developed exclusively to international students who are enrolled or meets the requirements to enroll at a university. 

Students applying the summer course should have the knowledge of Danish language equivalent to A1 or A2.  Also, an English level at a minimum of B2 is required. Further information about requirements for granting a scholarship to the Summer Language course can be seen here .


Please apply here before July 5th, 2020.   

Confirmation of granted scholarship and further information about the course will be sent to applicants at July 7th. Iorder to keep their granted seat, applicants must engage in communication about the course from 7th to 10th of July.  

In case of rejection, applicants will be informed by July 10th as the latest.  

Duration and dates

3 weeks from July 27 to August 14, 2020. 

Danish classes

Online Danish classes are equivalent to 4 lessons per day. Danish classes are organized in a flexible way according to your local time, giving you the full responsibility of participation during the day. Digital face to face with the teacher and other students is held according to agreements during the course.
